In this session we heard an overview of the federal “Operation Allies Welcome” effort to provide protection and safety to Afghans, including the steps people have/will go through to gain refuge in the U.S. We learned about what this means for Minnesota, including how many people may resettle here, what that will look like, how the state is preparing, and how you can get involved.
